Eric Brockmeyer’s Rambler American sedan was started towards the end of 2004 and finished in July of 2011. Those 7 years were well worth the wait because Eric’s little project came out exactly as he planned and he has some awards to show for it. I remember talking to Eric back in 2005 about doing up some wheels for the Rambler. We were just about to take the Junk Yard Dog into a cast version and he wanted to have one of the first sets built. Eric knew right from the beginning what he wanted to accomplish and once he put pencil to paper he decided to take it over to Link’s Rod Shop in Heath, OH to start the build. Along the way H and H Autobody did the paint and bodywork and Weber’s Custom Interiors finished the nice black leather interior. The Rambler sports a 55 354 Hemi dual quad. A set of 20×10 and 18×7 custom painted Junk Yard Dogs puts the power to the pavement. Debuted at Good Guys Columbus last summer and won Goodguys Columbus- builders choice and Street Rodder top 100. Other awards include NSRA nats Louisville- Builders Choice, Goodguys Indy- Snap-On Innovator award and NSRA Nats Tampa- builders choice.
