David Womack from Tucson, AZ shows off his new Smoothie 3’s on his super clean 1955 Chevy. 18×8’s in the front with 18×10’s in the rear lit up by a nice 502 motor. Ridetech coilovers in the front and their 4 link in the rear. This thing sits nice and sounds great. Boyd Burnout approved.

This is the 4th year my brother Gregg and I have given out the Boyd Coddington Memorial Award at the Good Guys Del Mar show. As always Del Mar doesn’t disappoint. The weather was a little chilly but not enough to scare anyone away. Lots of great cars to choose from and we’re glad Good Guys continues to support this award in memory of our father. For the award we decided to build a billet award design that our father used for some of the Pro’s Pick awards he used to give out. Anodized gold with a machine finish. We’re really happy with the way it turned out. It’s always a challenge to pick just one car at these shows. There were so many worthy rides but this year we decided that Ryan Reed’s 1937 Ford Coupe was hands down one of the coolest cars at the show. Ryan really put the attention to detail into this one. Killer stance, flawless paint and interior. Nothing dated or trendy about this car at all. Ryan built this all himself at his shop in Corona, CA. Definitely something our dad would have thought was super cool. We look forward to coming back next year to pick another ride that is worthy of getting the Boyd Coddington Memorial Award. Many thanks to the Good Guys for their support.
