Good Guys Del Mar 2015

We attended the Good Guys Del Mar show once again. Not only to display our new product but to hand out a very important award for our family. Greg and I look forward to picking the winner of the Boyd Coddington Memorial award every year. We are thankful to Good Guys for having us and to all the nice cars that are present that make it really difficult sometimes to just pick just one winner. This year John Cowell’s 35 Ford 5 window stood out above all the rest. Very tastefully done and every inch of this car had some serious attention paid to it. John took the car to Keith over at Image Street Rods out of Santa Maria, CA in 2008 and it rolled out complete in 2010. The Smokn35 features a/c and heat, 4 wheel Wilwood discs brakes, 9″ posi rear end, House of Kolors paint, and leather interior done by Mike Wray of Cayucos ca. This car is definitely something my dad would have been stoked on.

20″ Pro Sports

The 80’s and 90’s were a great time for the Coddington family. The billet boom was hitting and sport trucks rolling on 15″ and 17″ billets were the thing. One of the earliest directional wheesl that I can remember my dad producing was the Pro Sport. While the Tri-Fan received a lot more attention the Pro Sport holds a soft spot in my heart for being one of the cooler directional wheels my dad did when I was a kid. We just finished these up for a customer and I am excited to see an older design like the Pro Sport built in a larger diameter and soft lip. Hot Rods and Custom Stuff Built 1957 Chevy

Hot Rods and Custom Stuff out of Escondido, CA did an amazing job putting this 1957 Chevy together. Their HRBB wheel of choice was a set of staggered 20″ Centennials. Standard profile in the front and concave profile in the rear with the silver and polished combination finish.

New Gotcha Series Liberty

New for 2015 is our Gotcha Series Liberty. This wheel is shown here 22″ high polish. We offer the Liberty in a range of diameters from 17″ to 22″ for both 5 and 6 lug applications. Widths range from 7″ to 15″ wide. Like the rest of our Gotcha Series the Liberty is a made to order 2pc wheel made entirely in the U.S.A out of 6061 Aluminum and made to order. We offer our backspace and offset settings in 1/8″ increments.
